💡Consenting Adults
The Constitution, Law Enforcement, and Your Rights — with Joe & Lauren Gorman

Overview
The basics of your constitutional rights when interacting with law enforcement: what you can and cannot say or do, how to assert those rights, and how to de-escalate an encounter before it goes wrong.
A short presentation on constitutional principles, followed by an interactive portion where participants practice asserting their rights with law enforcement officers and practice de-escalation techniques — the kind that promote public safety and encourage constitutional police practices.
Show up if you want to know what you can and cannot say or do when interacting with law enforcement.
